My stay at the hotel was absolutely delightful. The room, a lovely semi-circular space, was big, charming, romantic, and comfortable. We stayed in Junior Suite #22, dedicated to Louis Armstrong, which was gorgeous, tastefully appointed, and offered a pleasant view of the garden. The staff was very friendly and helpful, although at times they seemed to be in a hurry. The hotel's location on the outskirts of Bern provided tranquil settings with panoramic views across the city rooftops. The dining experience was good but slightly overpriced, with plenty of food but lacking a 'wow' factor for the price. Overall, a wonderful stay with a few minor drawbacks.

The hotel is situated on a beautiful park-like property featuring chestnut trees and offering an interesting view over the river, city of Bern, and the Alps. Despite being just outside the city center, the location felt like the countryside but was still close to the historic center of Bern.

The dining experience was good with plenty of food, but slightly overpriced. The home-made muffins were a nice touch, although the overall meal did not have a 'wow' factor for the price.
